Graduate Student / Social Inequality
Erika Lindstrom is a first-year doctoral student focusing on social inequality and demography. She completed her bachelor's degree at Transylvania University, while focusing on sociology and theatre, and holds a double master's from Regis University in Project Management and Organizational Leadership. Her thesis work explored race representation in the Lego Company product line while outlining a corporate social responsibility alternative. Besides explaining to non-Kentucky natives that Transylvania University is a real institution, Erika serves as an Area Coordinator for eight hundred undergraduate students at Utah State University and has eight years of experience in student affairs. Her focus topics include: gender and religion, LGBT related topics, race and ethnicity, student retention and engagement, volunteerism/service, and qualitative research.
