Ennea Fairchild is a first year doctoral student with a focus in Environmental Sociology. Her research interests include how environmental conditions affect neighborhoods, especially low-income areas, gentrification, and poverty in natural resource-dependent neighborhoods.
She is originally from Indiana, receiving her Master's degree in Natural Resource and Environmental Management from Ball State University. Her undergraduate degree came from Indiana University-Fort Wayne, with a concentration in Criminal Justice and Sociology. Prior to her move to Logan, she worked in Cincinnati for Legal Aid Society through AmeriCorps.
She spends her free time enjoying the outdoors, hiking, tennis, and running.
