Post doctoral researcher
Dr. Hillary Fishler is a post-doctoral researcher at USU. She is working on a state funded project to assess implementation and perceptions of water reuse across Utah. She is also involved in a project to enhance Extension efforts to support farmers on irrigation. Hillary holds a PhD and a Master of Public Policy from Oregon State University in Environmental Policy and Science. Her other scholarly work includes examinations of Institutional Analysis and Design to assess recovery and rebuilding after catastrophic wildfire, collaborative formal and informal governance in rural communities, and several other projects with the USDA Forest Service using mixed-methods and econometrics to examine barriers and opportunities for natural disaster mitigation across the US.
